NCC and NSS unit of MCU did plantation under the Amrit Mahotsav festival of independence
Bhopal. In Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, a two-day cleanliness and plantation program was organized on Environment Week by the unit of NCC and NSS under the Amrit Mahotsav festival of independence.
In this sequence, on Tuesday, Vice-Chancellor Prof. KG Suresh along with other professors and volunteers planted saplings. Earlier, on the first day of the program, volunteers of NSS and NCC did Shramdaan by running a cleanliness campaign in the university campus and also made them aware of it.
Appreciating the work of the volunteers associated with the unit of NCC and NSS, Vice-Chancellor Prof. KG Suresh said that today's environment remains a global challenge. In such a situation, it is necessary that we all together protect and promote the environment.
We all have to remember that the conservation of nature is a shared responsibility of all of us. On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Suresh administered the pledge to the volunteers for cleanliness and environmental protection. On the occasion of the plantation, the Registrar of the University Prof.Avinash Vajpayee NSS and NCC cadets including , Heads of all departments, Program Officer of National Service Scheme Dr. Gajendra Singh Avasya, and ANO Lt.
